Hand-made 3D Dropmen

I’m making three dimensional hand-sewn and hand-printed versions of the Dropmen. They’re about 30 cm high, outside is silk-screened cotton fabric, and they are stuffed with polyester.

Last year I took some time off to learn new things. In preparation for our upcoming collaboration I joined a team of helpers to assist @coralie_turpin_sculptor with the production of a giant mosaic project. It’s been such an incredible learning experience! The final public artwork was installed later in the year for Wild Eye: a new marine wildlife watching station on Marine Drive in Scarborough. The project was a collaboration with @jeremydeller @yorkshirewildlifetrust_ and art-science-climate organisation @invisible_dust
