My work for the Beermat character London show curated by Inkygoodness is now available online.
I had a lovely time at the opening on Thursday. Greenwich is a beautiful area of london, and the gallery is right next to the famous Cutty Sark, and a small walk from the Royal Observatory which offers a fantastic view on London. Very cool. Here are a few photos, thanks to everyone who showed up x
Starting next month (April 18) is my new exhibition in collaboration with british artist Jo Peel at Ben Oakley gallery 9 Turnpin Lane, Greenwich Market London SE10. If you are in town please come by! x
FLUX – a new exhibition by Jo Peel and Florence Blanchard – features visions of despairing urban landmarks and aims to warn us about the imminent loss of ‘taken for granted’ urban icons of our current society. Peel looks at the high street, its days numbered as stalwarts of our cultural landscape are closed down and re-imagined to service the changing needs of our society, while Blanchard imagines the cities of tomorrow with a twist of surrealism and humour. Both artists will show new works on canvas and paper.
January got really busy and it’s been a while since my last post. I’m working on several projects, including my next exhibition with Jo Peel in London in April. More info coming soon. Here is a work in progress: 20 x 20 cm acrylic on paper
Collage with colored paper on wall. Running until end of December in Ixelles/Brussels: rue Keyenveld, 49 (Be) just accross the street from Audrey Hepburn’s house.
Thanks Benjamine and Tom for making this happen. Thanks to Liz Carrington at Reclaim for hooking me up with a place where to work in Sheffield.
